Mr. Janneraskedthe Minister of Education whether, in view of the abnormally cold weather this winter, she will now ask for reports from local authorities indicating in how many schools children were sent home during the cold spell through lack of proper heating facilities and burst pipes;what steps have been or are being taken to ensure that schools are properly heated during the winter months, in view of the difficulties of sending some children home during school hours; and if she will state the result of such reports.
