HC Deb 11 February 1954 vol 523 c152W
77. Mr. Donnelly

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what reply he has made to the letter he has received from the Howard League for Penal Reform suggesting an inquiry into the law regarding homosexuality.

Sir D. Maxwell Fyfe

I am not yet in a position to send a considered reply to the Howard League for Penal Reform, but I shall keep their views in mind in examining the general question of the law relating to sexual offences and the treatment of sexual offenders.
