§ 47. Mr. T. Reidasked the Prime Minister what restrictions are imposed by certain countries within the British Commonwealth and Empire on British immigrants there.
§ The Prime MinisterIt would not be convenient to give, in answer to a Question, a detailed account of the practice of each Member of the Commonwealth, but in most cases their Governments, and also the Governments of most Colonial Territories, have powers to restrict the entrance of British immigrants.
