§ Mr. F. Willeyasked the Minister of Food the estimated expenses and the estimated net profits, respectively, of the Meat Importers' National (Defence) Association Limited for the financial years 1952–53 and 1953–54, respectively.
§ Major Lloyd GeorgeThe amounts paid to the Meat Importers' National (Defence) Association in respect of expenses and net profit for the year 1952–53 were, respectively, £195,687 and £336,966. I am not prepared at this stage to estimate the payments that will be made for the year ending 31st March next. There has been no change in the method of remunerating this body for many years.
