§ Mr. Coveasked the Minister of Education the total amount of the balances accruing to the teachers' superannuation account in respect of the post-1922 service of teachers for 1948, 1949, 1950, 1951, 1952 and 1953, respectively.
§ Miss HorsbrughThe balances in the statutory teachers' superannuation account as at 31st March, 1948, 31st March, 1949, and 31st March, 1950, were about £167 million, about £176 million and £186 million. Provisionally estimated figures for the following years are:
31st March, 1951—£195 million. 31st March, 1952—£207 million. 31st March, 1953—£220 million.
