asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what types and sterling amounts are involved, respectively, in the obsolescent or common-use military equipment exported to Spain.

Mr. Dodds-Parker

"Common-use" items to a value of £1,416,350 were licensed for export to Spain during 1953. The chief items were transport aircraft, piston-type aircraft engines, radio and radar equipment and gyro-compass equipment.
