§ 83. Mr. R. Robinsonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he is aware that meat and milk are still subject to price control in Antigua and that this price is below the cost of production; and whether he will take steps to ensure that this price control does not force the local producers to bear a loss when selling their products.
§ Mr. HopkinsonMeat and milk are still subject to price control in Antigua. I understand that most of the producers are satisfied with the prices that they get. The matter is primarily one for the Government of Antigua, which has in mind the consideration mentioned by my hon. Friend.
