Mr. Awberyasked the Under-secretary of State for Air if he is aware that the employees of his Department in Singapore are excluded from the Central Provident Fund Act of November, 1953; why they were not included like other workers; and whether he will take steps to see that they obtain the same legislative privileges as other citizens.
Mr. WardYes. We are at the moment considering whether locally-engaged Air Ministry employees can be brought into this scheme. I will write to the hon. Member when a decision has been made.
