Miss Wardasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will give an assurance that the implementation of the recent agreement with the National Association of Local Government Officers making pay increases equal between the sexes will be allowed to be reckoned for Government grant purposes in all cases.
§ Mr. MarplesIn so far as salaries are admissible for grant in services for which my right hon. Friend is responsible, he will be prepared to admit expenditure incurred as a result of this agreement.
