Mr. Lewis

asked the Minister of Food if he will publish in HANSARD a table of figures showing the rise or fall in food prices for which his Department has responsibility, during the last six months.

The only satisfactory measure of general changes in food prices is provided by the Interim Index of Retail Prices. The movement of the food section of the Index was:
