HC Deb 21 December 1954 vol 535 cc247-8W
13. Mr. Willis

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what schemes for the redevelopment of Edinburgh he has at present before him; when they were received; and when he expects to give a decision concerning them.

Mr. J. Stuart

The only comprehensive redevelopment proposals by Edinburgh Corporation at present before me relate to the St. Leonard's (Dumbiedykes) Area. These were submitted to me by the Corporation on 14th January, 1954, as an amendment to the development plan for the city. The development plan raises major issues, and I cannot at present say when I shall be able to give my decision on it.
