§ 80. Mr. Collinsasked the Minister of Food if he is aware that leaflet, CDP/L2, issued by his Department, states that farmers using wheat of their own growing only qualify for deficiency payment if a seed permit has been issued, and that they must sell the grain to an authorised merchant and buy the grain back from him; and if he will amend the terms of his leaflet, so as to conform with the statement of Government policy made on this subject on 15th November, 1954.
Dr. HillNo. A clear distinction is drawn in the leaflet between grain redelivered to a grower for grinding or similar purposes and seed grain redelivered for sowing.
