§ Mr. Peytonasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation (1) what progress has been made in the construction of a new outlet road from Yeovilton;
(2) if he is aware that, owing to the restrictions on the use of Pyle Lane, there is now no road in good condition by which traffic may freely enter and leave the village of Yeovilton; and what action he proposes to take.
§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterI am aware of the difficulties. The alignment of the new alternative road has been under discussion with the property owners mainly affected, and I now propose to publish revised draft proposals under Section 49 of the Town and Country Planning Act. 1947.
