§ 84. Captain Duncanasked the Assistant Postmaster-General whether he is aware of the interference by another station with the Home Service in the Arbroath area; which station is causing this interference; and what steps he is taking to improve reception of the Home Service in this area.
§ Mr. GammansI am sorry that reception of the Home Service in this area is not wholly satisfactory. This is due to periodic interference from a station at Barcelona. We have taken the matter up with the Spanish authorities, and they have made certain changes; but there has been no permanent improvement, and we are approaching them again.
