asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation the technical considerations that are preventing him from permitting the building of two-axle double decker omnibuses for use in the United Kingdom.

The building of such vehicles is not prohibited for use in the United Kingdom provided that they do not exceed the 27 feet limit of length laid down for doable decker buses generally.
