Mr. Swinglerasked the Minister of Defence if he will ascertain from the United Kingdom North Atlantic Treaty Organisation representative, and publish, information showing the proportion of national income spent on defence and the proportion of the male population in the armed forces in each European member State of the Organisation; and if he will publish what information he has on the same subjects about the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
