§ 32. Mr. W. T. Williamsasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT a list of the registered co-operative organisations in each Colony and Protectorate.
§ Mr. HopkinsonThe list would comprise the names of over 7,000 organisations, and while appreciating the hon. Member's interest in the progress of the co-operative movement in the Colonies, I do not feel that the value of such a list would be commensurate with the labour involved in obtaining the necessary details from each Colonial Government. 143W I will, however, be happy to obtain for the hon. Member the list for any Colonial Territory in which he is especially interested.
