Robertsasked the President of the Board of Trade the cost to this country in dollars during 1955 of the importation of a substantial number of overdrives, less casting, by the subsidiary company to Borg-Warner in the United States of America resulting from licences already issued by the Board of Trade.
§ Mr. LowImports from the United States of overdrives (less casings), have so fair 'been authorised to the value of £225,000 c.i.f. It cannot be exactly stated how much of this expenditure will fall within 1955.
