§ Mr. P. ThorneycroftDetailed matters concerning the application of the credit are at present under negotiation with the Persian Government. The credit which is granted under the Export Guarantees Acts, 1949 to 1952, may be used by the Persian Government to make payments for any goods which are wholly or partly produced and manufactured in the United Kingdom, or for sterling services provided from the United Kingdom.
