HC Deb 09 December 1954 vol 535 c63W
57. Mr. Sorensen

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations what restrictions are now in operation in respect of immigrating citizens of the United Kingdom into other Commonwealth countries.

Mr. Dodds-Parker

It would not be convenient to give, in answer to a Question, a detailed account of the practice of each member of the Commonwealth, but in most cases their Governments have powers to restrict the entrance of United Kingdom immigrants.
