§ 64. Mr. K. Thompsonasked the President of the Board of Trade if, in view of the continuing decline in Britain's exports to Brazil, he will give fresh consideration to revising the current debt settlement with Brazil to make possible an expansion of Anglo-Brazilian trade.
§ Mr. P. ThorneycroftI share my hon. Friend's concern at the decline in the level of our exports to Brazil; but I do not consider that the right way to remedy this situation would be to revise the terms of the debt settlement.
