asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he will make a statement regarding the marketing of horticultural produce.

Mr. Amory

The last published report of a comprehensive inquiry into horticultural marketing is 30 years old. The Government have decided to appoint a committee to conduct an independent examination of present methods and facilities and to make recommendations for improvements and for the priorities to be given to them. I hope shortly to announce the membership and terms of reference of the committee.
