§ 93. Mr. Edward Evansasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what representations he has received concerning delays to road traffic and congestion due to the operating of the Lowestoft swing bridge; and if he has any plans for improvement.
§ Mr. MolsonRepresentations have been received from the Lowestoft Borough Council and the Lowestoft and District Trades Council. Investigations are in hand as to a new bridge and road alignment, but any scheme is likely to be very expensive and I regret that I cannot forecast when it may be possible to carry it out.
