HC Deb 29 October 1953 vol 518 c396W
Mr. Baker

asked the Minister of Agriculture if he will take steps to break the action of the trawler owners in preventing fish reaching the housewife in sufficient quantity and at a fair price.

Sir T. Dugdale

I feel that my hon. Friend is under a misapprehension. In the past year supplies have been generally adequate and the prices realised by trawler-owners have been on average below those ruling in 1952.
