§ Mr. J. StuartSince 1945, 2,307 water supply schemes, costing approximately £9,600,000, have been completed by local water authorities in Scotland. Of these, 230 schemes costing £2,596,000, qualified for percentage grant under the Rural Water Supplies and Sewerage Act, 1944, or the Distribution of Industry Act, 1945 as follow:
