§ Miss HorsbrughOut of 12,779 newly trained teachers who left training colleges and university departments this summer, 875 were reported, on 10th September, to be still seeking posts in maintained and assisted schools. The comparable figures at the same time last year were 11,935 and 1,297 respectively.
