ThorneycroftThe advantages to the United Kingdom of continued participation in the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade lie in the code of conduct which the Agreement prescribes for the regulation of Governmental practices in international trade, in the opportunity it provides for discussion of trade problems, and, in particular, in the concessions on the tariffs of foreign countries which are embodied in its Schedules.
