HC Deb 27 October 1953 vol 518 cc334-5W
13. Brigadier Medlicott

asked the Minister of Labour if, in reviewing the work of the National Service medical boards, he will take into account the case of Gordon Payne, of Perth, who died a week after being passed A1 for military service in August last.

Sir W. Monckton

I am informed that Mr. Payne died from a hæmorrhage of the brain and that his early death could not have been foreseen by any medical examiner.
