Member is referring to my recent estimate of£1,100 million, which was intended to represent very approximately the cost of all the road proposals included, for the first 20-year period, in the development plans submitted or in course of preparation by local planning authorities. Most of the schemes in these plans have not reached the stage of detailed consideration and progress with them will depend on the financial circumstances prevailing at the time of submission.
