§ Mr. Iain MacleodSuch facilities in accordance with medical custom are usually afforded on application to the hospital by the appropriate relatives or friends. In cases of difficulty the Board of Control have statutory powers under the Lunacy and Mental Treatment Acts to authorise such examinations to be made.
