asked the Minister of Food whether he has now considered the Report of the Committee of Inquiry into the Slaughter of Horses; and what action he proposes to take.

As my right hon. and gallant Friend informed the Member for Ayr (Sir T. Moore) yesterday, he is considering the Report in consultation with other Ministers concerned. He will make a statement to the House as soon as possible.
