§ 74. Mr. Houghtonasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation how many men are employed on road repair works in progress in Market Street, Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire; and when he expects the interruption of traffic in this narrow stretch of trunk road to end.
Mr. BraithwaiteTwenty-seven men are now employed on this work, which I expect to be completed by the middle of November. I regret, however, that there will continue to be some interruption of traffic until the end of the year because of emergency repairs to Hepton New Bridge, which a recent inspection showed to be necessary.
