HC Deb 21 October 1953 vol 518 c262W
63. Major Anstruther-Gray

asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation whether the examination by independent and impartial experts of Sir Bruce White's proposal to build a road bridge over the present Forth railway bridge has now been carried out; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

After consulting the Institution of Civil Engineers I have decided to appoint a panel of civil engineers to carry out this investigation. I hope to announce full details next week.
