§ The Attorney-GeneralThe policy of Her Majesty's Government is set out in paragraph 36 of the White Paper (Cmd. 8713) on Leasehold Property. The Government hopes to introduce legislation giving effect to the proposals in the White Paper as soon as possible, but I cannot at present give any undertaking.
