§ Mr. LytteltonThe Board consists of three ex-officio members, namely, the Commissioner of Local Government, the Director of Medical Services and the President of the Village Chairman's Conference, and four other members appointed by the Governor. Of the latter two are members of village councils or of country authorities, and one is nominated by the British Guiana Sugar Producers' Association. No members of the board are known to be members of the People's Progressive Party.
