§ 89. Mr. Jannerasked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the fact that most of the patients who will require masks as a protection from fog will be old people in the low income group, he will allow such masks to be issued free of any prescription charge.
§ Miss Hornsby-SmithThere are no grounds which would justify drawing a distinction between masks and other necessary drugs and appliances prescribed by general practitioners. Where the charge cannot be met without hardship the usual simple arrangements for securing a refund apply.
