§ Mr. LytteltonExpectations of life at birth for the population of British Guiana as a whole were given in my reply of 21st October to a Question by the hon. Member for Dundee, East (Mr. G. M. Thomson). Figures calculated locally for the current expectation of life of males is 53 years for "East Indians" as well as for all races. Corresponding figures for females are 54 years for "East Indians" and 56 years for all races. No separate figures are available for Europeans.
