Roe, Bracebridge 203W Heath, Lincoln, who are engaged on work for his Department, have decided to operate a four-day working week; and when he will be in a position to give the firm instructions to proceed on the contracts they have with his Department.
§ Mr. SandysI understand that one third of the firm's employees at this works began a four-day week on 9th November. The Ministry of Supply contract on which the firm is engaged at Bracebridge Heath, Lincoln, is not a production contract. The contract is to repair R.A.F. aircraft as the need arises and short-time working should cease when the next batch of aircraft for repair, which is expected shortly, reaches the works.
