§ Sir D. EcclesI would refer the hon. Member to the reply given on 7th July to the hon. Member for Newcastle-under-Lyme (Mr. Swingler). The production of bricks is expanding and should continue to do so in 1954. The expectation of uninterrupted demand provides the necessary incentive to maximum output of building materials generally.
