asked the Minister of Labour to publish in HANSARD a table of figures showing the registered number of unemployed in Holborn and St. Pancras for a given date in October for each of the years from 1945 to 1953, and similar details for the parliamentary division of Holborn and St. Pancras, South.

Statistics of unemployment are not available for boroughs or Parliamentary divisions. The borough of Holborn is covered by the Kings Cross Employment Exchange and the borough of St. Pancras by the Camden Town Employment Exchange. The Kings Cross Employment Exchange, however, also covers the borough of Finsbury and the South-West Islington Parliamentary Division, and the Camden Town Employment Exchange covers part of the borough of Hampstead. The number of unemployed persons on the registers of the two employment exchanges in October of each of the years 1945 to 1953 were as follows:
