§ 50. Mr. G. Thomasasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance what steps he is taking to ensure that the National Assistance Board will be ready to meet its increased liabilities when rents are increased.
§ Mr. PeakeNo special steps are necessary. The Board have all the powers needed to enable them to deal with any new situation that may arise in respect of rents paid by persons receiving assistance.
