Lieut.-Colonel Lipton

asked the Secretary of State for War what investigations have been made into allegations of irregular practices in a unit of the Women's Royal Army Corps at Chilwell, Nottinghamshire, details of which have been drawn to his attention.

I understand that a very careful investigation was carried out when these incidents came to light. But, as I informed the hon. and gallant Member in my reply to his Question on 19th May, I have personally called for a report. I will write to him as soon as I have considered it.
