asked the Minister of Agriculture how much money the Forestry Commission has spent each year since the war on the construction of forest roads in Wales; and how much of this work has been undertaken by county councils on their behalf.

No work has been carried out by county councils on forest roads in Wales for which the Forestry Commission are responsible. The Commission's expenditure on these roads is shown in the following table.
