§ 71. Mr. Gowerasked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he will take steps to ensure that the future development of the electricity and gas industries in Wales is governed by a dominant consideration for the needs of the Principality of Wales including Monmouthshire.
§ Mr. Joynson-HicksMy right hon. Friend would not hesitate to take such steps as he might at any future time think necessary, but at present he has no reason to think that the needs of Wales and Monmouthshire are not the dominant consideration in the development of these two industries there.
