HC Deb 12 May 1953 vol 515 c70W
Mr. Chetwynd

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government how many miles of new rights of way have been established on the Pennine Way; and how many miles of new rights of way are still required to complete the project.

Mr. H. Macmillan

Twenty-two and a half miles of new rights of way have now been created. Work is progressing well on the legal procedure for creating the remaining 68½ miles which are needed to complete the whole 250 miles of the Way.
