Mr. Philips Priceasked the Secretary of State for War when the Army Apprentices School, at Beachley, was constructed; for what reason it has been estimated that it will cost about £750,000 and take at least three years to move it away from the Beachley Peninsula prior to the construction of the new River Severn Bridge; and what plans have been made for such removal.
§ Mr. HeadThis school was built in 1916. The estimates given are for the cost and time needed to build a new school elsewhere to accommodate about 1,000 boys. Until a decision about the Severn Bridge is reached, the school will stay where it is.
