HC Deb 04 May 1953 vol 515 c2W
37. Mr. C. Hughes

asked the Minister of Transport if he has considered the representations made to him as to the inadequacy of the Conway suspension bridge; and what steps he proposes taking to improve the position.

Mr. Braithwaite

Yes. I am aware of the inconvenience resulting from the inadequacy of this bridge and plans are being prepared for a new bridge. I cannot yet say when it will be possible to start this expensive scheme.
