§ 38. Mr. Manuelasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will indicate the local authorities in the county of Ayr which have not yet replied to the draft proposals sent to them on 2nd May, 1952, in connection with the establishment of a river purification board.
Commander GalbraithI understand that representatives of the local authorities mainly concerned approved the draft proposals without amendment at a meeting on 19th March, and my right hon. Friend expects to receive confirmation of the decision by the constituent authorities fairly soon.
