Mr. Boyd-Carpenter

I am afraid that I have nothing to add to my reply to

Mr. P. Thorneycroft

I am informed by the Company that work on this project was suspended owing to changes in their commitments, but that no final decision has been taken about the future of the site, pending a review of the Company's future production plans now being undertaken. My right hon. Friend the Minister of Supply and I are in close touch with the Company, who are aware of the importance which the Government attach to the provision of more employment in Liverpool.
