HC Deb 26 March 1953 vol 513 c116W
Mr. J. Morrison

asked the Minister of Works what steps he takes to ensure the maintenance of an adequate supply of fish of a reasonable size for angling in the Serpentine and other lakes under his charge; and if he is satisfied as to present standards.

Mr. Eccles

Waters where fishing is allowed are re-stocked periodically from other waters in my charge, and from sources such as reservoirs. I doubt if fishermen are ever content with the size of fish they catch, but we do our best.
